Agnès Leroux joined A4E as a Policy Director in August 2019, responsible for aviation security, passenger data & border control, cargo, customs as well as ATC Strikes.

Agnès brings to A4E ten years of experience in EU public affairs, communications, advocacy campaigning and coalition management. Prior to A4E she worked in two political communications firms in Brussels where she advised clients on a broad range of EU policy topics, including transport (drones, new mobility services), digital policy, energy and environment as well as agriculture, fisheries and industrial policy.

During her career, Agnès managed a variety of pan-European campaigns, advising large multinational corporations, trade associations, NGOs and SMEs.

Her first role in Brussels was as a trainee in the European Commission’s Secretariat General, overseeing the quality of Impact Assessments. She also had the opportunity to work on EU policy evaluation for the Secretariat General.

A French national, Agnès speaks fluent English and Italian, as well as conversational German. She holds a Masters degree in “Politics and Government in the EU” from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE, London) and a Masters degree in “Public Administration” from Sciences Po (Institut d’Etudes Politiques, Rennes). When she’s not in the office, Agnès can be found reading a book or enjoying her passion for dance and yoga.
