Kevin Hiney joined A4E as Communications Director in September 2022 bringing with him nearly a decade of EU policy and communications experience. He is responsible for the development and implementation of A4E’s communication strategy, as well media relations and A4E’s communication activities on key issues in Brussels and beyond.

Prior to joining A4E, Kevin was a consultant at a strategic communications and campaigns agency in Dublin and Brussels where he worked with a wide range of clients from the tech, chemicals, fast moving consumer goods and industrial sectors. He previously worked at Airbus as a policy analyst and at the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs. He also undertook a traineeship at the European Parliament.

Kevin holds an undergraduate degree in government from University College Cork (UCC) and a master’s degree in European politics & policy from the London School of Economics (LSE). As well as his native English, he continues to work on his French.
