Airlines for Europe (A4E) is looking for a talented and enthusiastic communications intern to join our team in Brussels for a traineeship (minimum 6 months) starting on 08 Nov. 2018.
You will: • Assist the Communications & Policy Directors in developing and publicizing A4E campaigns • Assist in the research and development of new communications strategies • Update external and internal distribution lists • Help plan, track & execute events • Create and post editorial/social media/website content • Provide administrative and operational support to the office
You have: • A strong academic background in public communication, marketing or public affairs (or similar) and you are currently enrolled in or have just graduated with a degree (Master’s preferred) • A strong interest in aviation and the airline industry • Knowledge of the EU, its processes and institutions • Native Proficiency in English (preferred) • Excellent writing and attention to detail • Social media know-how and use • Experience in event management (considered a plus). • Oral & written fluency in at least one other major European language (French, German or Spanish an advantage) • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) • Hands-on work ethic • Flexibility to multi-task and to perform under pressure • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
